Ryan is 5 and Steven is 7 yrs old. They are both of mixed African Caribbean/white heritage.

Ryan is an active child who loves all sports. He can spend hours playing football and riding his bike. He attends a mainstream school and is making good progress. He thrives on attention and praise and responds well to boundaries. He is generally healthy and has a good appetite.

Steven is a lively, happy and sociable little boy who also loves football, playing on the trampoline and playing with toy cars. He is a healthy child developing well for his age. He is energetic and can be strong willed at times. Since being in care he has caught up academically and is on the level expected for his age.

Michaela is 4 yrs old.  Her ethnic origin is white British

Michaela has Cerebal Palsy leading to mobility problems.  She has regular physiotherapy.  It is unclear at present how independently mobile she will be as an adult.  Michaela attends mainstream nursery on a part time basis.  She enjoys this very much and is a very happy and responsive little girl.   She loves playing with dolls and watching cartoons.   She has a beaming smile which lights up a room.

Katy is 6 & Clarissa is 9 yrs old. They are both of mixed parentage, mother Asian/white British and father African Caribbean/white British

Katy is a bubbly outgoing little girl. She loves playing with other children and can be quite bossy! She works well at a mainstream school and enjoys reading and painting. She loves to talk and will chat happily about her day at school. She responds well to attention and praise and is a very affectionate little girl.

Clarissa is much quieter than her sister. She is quite shy and has taken a while to settle in at school. However she gets on well with people once she knows them and has a lovely caring nature. Clarissa loves gymnastics and dancing. She likes to copy dancing from music video’s and also loves dressing up and putting make up on her sister. She is a healthy, active, happy little girl

Rio is 4 yrs old and of Black African/White parentage

Rio is a fun loving happy child.  He likes lots of cuddles and attention.  He loves being sung too and is a placid little boy.  Rio enjoys going to the park and he likes playing with his toy trucks and cars.  He plays well on his own but enjoys the company of other children.  His speech is slightly delayed, but with support he has made significant progress.  Rio has experienced neglect which may have affected his behaviour and development.

Jabreel is 7 yrs old and of Pakistan/Asian ethnicity

Jabreel has the most engaging smile which gets bigger and brighter the more he develops in confidence. He has been diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum. He attends mainstream school and with extra help and support his is developing well. Jabreel loves playing with other children, particularly football. He is very active and has lots of energy. He also enjoys watching films, particularly Disney video’s.

Lucy is 8, Jamie is 4 & Sophia is 2 yrs old.  They are of white ethnicity

Lucy, Jamie and Sophia enjoy being part of a close and affectionate sibling group.  Lucy is a very bright, caring little girl who is very protective over her brother and sister.  She is a keen artist and can amuse herself for hours drawing and painting.  She enjoys school and has lots of friends.

Jamie is a happy lively little boy who thrives on love and attention.  He loves to sing and be sung too, a proper little entertainer.  He also loves playing with his trucks and teddy bears.  He eats and sleeps well and is enjoying nursery.

Sophia is a placid contented little girl.  She is a healthy child who receives lots of fuss from her big sister.  She eats well and is reaching all her developmental boundaries.  She loves music and cuddly toys which sing and dance.
