No one comes forward for one in five children waiting for adoption

Children far less likely to receive enquiries include African Caribbean children, children of dual heritage ethnicity, boys over three years old and groups of brothers and sisters who need to stay together.

Here in the black country we urgently need families who:

• Can take a sibling group of up to 2 or 3 children
• Can consider children aged 3
• Can consider children with learning difficulties and emotional problems
• Are of dual heritage ethnicity or are in a mixed relationship
• Will consider boys and girls. We have many more boys waiting
• Have space in their homes
• Can consider children who may have experienced alcoholism, drug abuse, mental illness within their birth family
